Paper Trail Debuts at Number 1
As Joe Kaiser told you last week, the new T.I. album is really good. According to Billboard, it is also really popular.
Paper Trail debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200 this week. The album sold a staggering 568,000 copies in its first week. It was T.I.‘s most successful sales week ever and it led Atlantic to its biggest sales week since Nielsen Soundscan began tracking data in 1991.
Meanwhile, T.I. is also doing very well on the Hot 100 singles chart. The Rihanna backed “Live Your Life” jumped 79 spots to the top spot where it replaced his previous single “Whatever You Like.” This makes T.I. the first artist to replace himself at the top of the chart since Usher did it in 2004.
