Chicago-Rilla Bump J charged in Oak Park robbery
Our international audience may not be too familiar with Chicago rapper Bump J, but there is a good chance you heard him rapping on “Chicago-Rillas,” the seemingly out of place posse track on Rhymefest’s Blue Collar. Sadly, Bump’s aspiring career suffered a setback today when he was arrested in Downstate Illinois and accused of taking part in a takeover-style bank robbery in Oak Park, IL last year.
Bump J, whose real name is Terrance Boykin, has been the subject of an unpublicized manhunt since September. The 28-year-old Dearborn Park native was arrested in Carbondale, IL.
