Hip Hop Caucus hopes to register 50,000 voters in one day
The Hip-Hop Caucus has teamed up with Radio One for the “Respect My Vote” campaign. The event aims to register over 50,000 voters on September 30 with drives in fifteen major American cities.
“Respect My Vote” is aimed at 18-29 year old voters, primarily those who did not attend college. The Hip Hop Caucus is, umm, a bipartisan organization. Funny thing is that Chicago, the third largest city in America doesn’t have a drive scheduled, while the battleground state of Ohio has three drives scheduled.
No complaints here.
