Jay-Z will be back on the road this summer, with Ciara serving as an opener. The tour will hit ten intimate venues…or at least intimate by Jay-Z standards. Due to Jay’s partnership with LiveNation you can expect outrageous ticket prices and even more outrageous service fees. For instance, my ticket, the second cheapest in the venue, cost me $67 and was bumped up to $83 after LiveNation had its way with me.
Still, despite the price, this promises to be one of the best tours of the summer. Chances to see Jay in a venue where you can actually see him don’t come along often.
The following five dates are already on sale. Five more will be announced:
July 3 – Las Vegas, NV The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort
July 4 - Las Vegas, NV The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort
July 7 – Chicago, IL Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island
July 10 - Uncasville, CT Mohegan Sun Arena
July 12 – Atlanta, GA @ Chastain Park Amphitheatre
