N.E.R.D. detained in Malaysia, forced to cancel shows
N.E.R.D. was detained by the Man in Malaysia the other day, when attempting to leave the country to play some shows in neighboring Indonesia. According to Immigration Director-General Datuk Mahmood Adam, the group did not get the proper clearance from something called the Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry to perform at the weekend’s Sunburst KL International Festival in Jakarta.
The group’s statements were heard and they were set free, though they were forced to cancel some Indonesian shows.
Also, Korn played at that festival. That must have been terrible.
