Nas celebrated Election Night by writing a brand new song by the same name and releasing it hours later. DJ Green Lantern handles production on the ninety second track, which is built on the beat from “Black President.”

According to Lantern, Nas, who is currently touring Europe, was eating dinner with his crew and discussing not being in America on Election Day when somebody quoted his line from “Black President” about “What’s the Black prez thinking on Election Night?” Nas immediately said, “Set up the mic. I’m gonna speak on that.” Here’s what he had to say:
