T.I. logs over 800 hours of community service
Think about this one – in the 7 months since T.I. began his community service for his gun charge, he’s logged 864 hours of community service. That means if he spent 8 hours volunteering each day to teach kids why gun violence doesn’t pay, the equivalent of a full-time job, that would have taken 3.5 full months. All this while managing to be every-fucking-where and releasing BPM’s #2 album of 2008, promotion, videos, interviews. Say what you will about T.I., but don’t call him unproductive.
And oh yeah – while he’s been doing all that, he’s prepping an MTV reality series about his community service experience. And get this – none of the community service to be shown on TV counted toward his 864 hours (‘cause then it’s not really punishment, right?). So he’s really done a lot more than 864. His show premieres February 10th.
